Operation: Photo Op

Photographer members of the Artists' Network Jessica Lin and Lori Ryerson have made us an offer we can't refuse!
On January 20 and 21, 2018, just in time for application season, these photographers (along with assistant photographers Donald Bray, David Johns, Lynn Leonard & Ian MacIntosh) will give up their weekend to help you get ready to roll out your art for 2018. This is an education event, with a great take-home – learn what’s involved in having your artwork professionally photographed, and take home high resolution photos of your work to use for applying for shows.
Here's the offer:
- You get a one-hour professional photo session to document your artworks.
- You will receive 10 high-resolution
JPEGS on a USB stick to use in your portfolio, on your website, as submission
entries - unlimited and un-watermarked.
Cost: $200 + HST
NOTE: These AN member artists are donating the proceeds from this event back to the Artists' Network to help us continue our mandate to teach artists how to be better business people.

Things you need to know and do to be ready for your hour:
If you can, bring a trusted friend/assistant with you to help you unload, unwrap and rewrap your art. We have limited number of volunteers, and there will be a lot going on.
Plan in advance what you want included in your 10 shots. This is not (necessarily) 10 pieces, it’s 10 JPEGs, so if you ask for a special detail shot, or a certain highlight, that is one of your JPEGS.
Arrive 15-20 minutes early so you have time to get ready. Since we are on a clock with specific time slots, if you are not ready to go when your time slot starts, that comes out of YOUR time slot, we cannot make it up out of the next one. That’s not fair to the others, so let’s all be respectful of each other by being punctual. If for some reason you find you are running late, please call in to Barb Lewis, who will be with us at the office (416-465-0302) so we don’t hold up the next person.
You cannot split the time with someone else.

There are no make up dates. First come, first served.
ABSOLUTE DEADLINE = JANUARY 8, 2018.
Deadline for Registration is January 8, 2018.
Deadline for Cancellation is January 15, 2018.
If you cancel before January 8, you will received a full refund.
If you cancel between January 8 but before January 15, and we can fill from the waitlist, you will receive a refund, less 25% of the amount. If you cancel between January 8 but before January 15, and we cannot fill from the waitlist, you will received a refund, less 50% of the amount.
If you cancel after January 15, or you don't show, no refund will be issued. A reminder that the photographers are donating THEIR time, so barring a true medical emergency, they should not have to chase anyone for attendance.
PLEASE NOTE: ARTISTS WILL BE ASKED TO CHECK FILES IMMEDIATELY WHEN THEY GET TO THEIR HOME COMPUTER; there will be a one-week grace period for reprints. If we have to resend the files after the week is up, there will be a $50 charge to do so (barring a catastrophic hard drive loss!).
