416 NOT LSTD
My main project since July 2015 is Truth and Reconciliation paintings with my newest exhibit July 1-14, 2016 at the Ben Navaee Gallery 1107 Queen St E, 1-5 pm. Benefit for youth of Neskantaga First Nation. I chose South Rivderdale as my home in 1983 because of its rich history of community action on social justice issues. The community, the local environment and Toronto neighbourhoods are some of the other inspirations for my paintings. After a career as a community health planner (developing neighbourhood profiles and equitable funding strategies) for 20 years I am grateful to be able to paint full time and build and share ideas through art.
