Practicing collagist and painter, native New Yorker and Permanent Resident, Judith Seifer has exhibited in many venues regularly since 2006. These include: the University of Toronto Faculty Club Pub, Capital One, Bridgepoint Rehabilitation Hospital, Christ Church Deer Park gallery, Bloor West Village Annual Arts & Crafts Show & Sale, Riverdale 2013 and 2014 and numerous solo shows at the Toronto Public Library branches. Academically trained at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, Judith holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education as well as an Ontario Teacher's Certificate. She has taken additional qualification courses in Visual Arts at the University of Toronto, taught with the TDSB for over a decade and served as a volunteer at Artscape Foundation and volunteer supervisor in the art program for homeless adults at Metropolitan United Church. Her earlier New York work involved independent painting commissions and book jacket collage illustrations for many leading publishers, most notably was the original, first edition cover for Erica Jong's, "Fear of Flying."
