Submissions for Art Walk North 2013 are now open.

WANT TO EXPAND YOUR SHOW OPPORTUNITIES? EXHIBIT AT THE INAUGURAL ART WALK NORTH – August 16 & 17, 2013

Leveraging the success our artists have experienced with the Riverdale Art Walk, the Artists Network is adding a second unique show to be held in Mel Lastman Square in the centre of flourishing North Toronto. This is your opportunity to show and sell to a new audience and expose your work to thousands of new visitors.

Art Walk North will be held in the greenspace of the North York Civic Centre and will be held over a Friday and Saturday to engage both the business and local residential communities.

Art Walk North is a two-day public fine art exhibition showcasing established and emerging artists amidst thriving businesses, bars and condos. Participating artists are selected through an anonymous jury process, allowing for an opportunity to participate in one of the only outdoor exhibitions that shows fine art.

INFORMATION FOR ARTISTS

All accepted artists and galleries will be featured in our online gallery. The Artists’ Network takes no commission. All sales in good faith are the responsibility of the artists.

Submission Fees

Artists Network Members - $225.00

Non-Members - $275.00

• Submission deadline – Friday, May 24, 2013
• Jurying results notification – Monday, June 10, 2013

Exhibitor Rules

Mel Lastman Square - Artists will be awarded space in Mel Lastman Square in sequence of submission. While you can request a specific location in the square, there are no guarantees for accommodations. Artists must have their own set-up. Artists are committed to exhibit rain or shine. All artists must remain in their allotted location for both days. We provide the area and the artist is responsible for providing their own tent and display materials. Security is present so you can leave your tent up overnight at your own risk. Storage is not provided for artwork overnight. Parking is not provided.

Please Note: acceptance into the Riverdale Art Walk does NOT guarantee a place at Art Walk North as participation is limited to 60 artists due to space restrictions.
